About Angelina:

Welcome! If you are reading this, you are taking a significant first step into your healing process and I am pleasured that you are exploring the possibility of allowing me to walk along side you through this journey.

Rapport contributes heavily to therapeutic success, and is something that I very much value in my work with clients. Due to this, I think it is important that you know a bit about me, and the services I provide.

I graduated from Monmouth University with a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health. I have years of experience working in settings of substance use agencies, private practice along with outreaches and psychoeducational lectures within the community.

I work with a variety of different populations including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults through individual, family and group sessions.

In practice with adults, I take a person centered orientation and believe that wellness and recovery are to be addressed holistically. I am passionate about respect, equity, and trust. Collaboratively with clients, sessions are typically dedicated to goal setting, development and practicing of communication skills, boundaries and emotional regulation. I find these skills are foundational to our overall mental and physical wellness. Through evidence based techniques such as motivational interviewing, I primarily assists clients in working on goals that are focused on life transitions and adjustments, stress, self-esteem, anger management, addiction, the understanding and managing of anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders, or diagnoses.

In my work with children and adolescents, I utilize techniques and interventions based in play and operate from a family system approach. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where they can explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences.
